About Wuzi Chess
Wuzi Chess goes by several names. Some call it Gomoku or Five in a Row. It uses a grid with fifteen lines on each side.
Players take turns to place one stone on any empty spot. The first side uses white stones. The opponent uses black stones. The aim is to place five stones in a straight line. You can do that horizontally. You can do that vertically. You can do that diagonally.
Players plan moves ahead. They watch opponent patterns. They block paths and build their own link of stones. That back and forth makes each match tense and sharp.
