Mancala.: An Ancient Classic Board Game with Timeless Strategy Mancala is a Timeless Board Game with origins tracing back to Africa and the Middle East. It’s your goal to collect more marbles or stones than your rival by carefully placing them on The board. Each player controls six small pits along with one store The game features a board consisting of 12 small pits and two larger pits known as stores.
The game begins with a set number of marbles usually 3 4 5 or 6 in each small pit. Player turns alternately by taking all of the marbles from one of their designated pits and distributing them counterclockwise one at a time into the other pits and their store. If the last marble is landed in the player’s store they are awarded an additional turn. Should their final marble land in an empty pit they have the opportunity to capture that marble along with any other marbles located in the directly opposite pit. When one player has no marbles remaining in their pits The other player must transfer their leftover marbles to their store. The winner is The player with The most marbles in their collection.
